This is not a beer for the timid. The Muntons Connoisseurs Export Stout is very dark, very hoppy and packed with roasted flavour from the first sip to the last. If you have been sitting on the fence about brewing a stout, this is the one that will push you off it.

Rich roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate on the nose, a bold hop character through the middle and a bitterness on the finish that rounds everything out without tipping into harsh. Pours as dark as it gets. Smooth as silk. Goes very well with a fire and a good excuse to do nothing else for the evening.

This can contains 1.8kg of 100 percent hopped malt extract. You will also need yeast, 500g dark malt and 500g dextrose (recommended for best results), and water. We recommend Safale S-04 or US-05. Check our recommended add-ons below.

Makes 23 litres (approximately 40 pints). ABV approximately 4.6%. OG 1040 to 1044. Serve chilled.
