Still Spirits Bourbon Barrel Chips 100g

Using only the barrel stave component from quality distilleries' genuine bourbon barrels — deeply charred 100% American oak that imparts a complex oak flavour profile for the ultimate bourbon experience.

Chips offer the greatest surface area of all the oak formats, which means faster and more intense extraction compared to spirals or staves.

These are sourced from real bourbon barrels that have already done one or more rounds of spirit ageing, meaning the wood has been seasoned and the harshest tannins have already been absorbed. The result is a rounder, more integrated oak character than new wood, with genuine bourbon barrel character: deep vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and subtle smoke.

Recommended usage: 50g per 2 litres of spirit for 10 days.
