Noble Barons | Home Brew Shop Open Day

Saturday 15 November 2025
9am - 2pm
1/70 Orlando Rd, Lambton NSW 2299

It’s been a while between drinks, you’ve been asking for workshops, so we are rolling up the garage door and having an open day.

If you are keen to get started home brewing, a beginner brewer that’s not really sure what you're doing or you  haven’t brewed in a while and need a refresher or maybe you’ve put down a few brews, but aren’t quite getting the results you want  - drop in for  a brewing  demo. We’ll be brewing all grain, extract and fresh wort kits.

Our friends from Hunter United Brewers will hanging around to answer questions on all grain brewing and getting the most of the world’s most delicious hobby.

If you’re a meat man (or lady), we’ll have the crew from the Australia Deer Association Hunter Valley Branch on hand - talking all things sausage making. They’ll be getting the stuffer out and showing you how it’s done - sharing their tricks of the trade from mixing your mince, to adding your seasoning and the tricky part - stuffing a sausage casing.

We’ll be cooking on the smoker and testing out meat rubs and sauces perfect for the summer BBQ season.

Want to have beer on tap at home?  Who doesn’t.

Our ‘All the Gear but No Idea’ demo will teach you how to get the best out of your kegerator. We’ll take you through step by step how to get your kegerator fridge running properly and pouring beer on tap at home like a pro - perfectly carbonated and at just the right temp.

It’s not rocket science, but it can be tricky to get it right.

It’s going to be an epic day, we will:

  • Demonstrate step-by-step how to put down your first brew with a standard, store bought starter kit
  • Explain the importance of cleaning and sanitising
  • Talk about the different styles of beers you can brew at home
  • Explain the different types of ingredients and equipment available to make your brew shine
  • Demonstrate step-by-step how to brew from Fresh Wort Kits (FWK’s) and explain what the FWK they are
  • Brew a beer from all grain on the Grainfather G40 Brewing System
  • Make sausage and cook some meat - ‘casue meat and sausages go hand in hand
  • Show you what a kegerator is and how to have beer pouring on tap at your place
  • Taste some delicious beer (yeah - we’ll let you taste some too)!
