Voyager Atlas Malt | 1kg, Cracked or Uncracked

Voyager Atlas Malt is a pale/lager base malt made from premium, lower-protein, locally-sourced barley.

A new world variety bred for high extract and high fermentability. It's for all-grain brewers making specialty lagers or lighter ales who want a clean, continental-style malt they can lean on heavily; it's recommended for use up to 100% of your grain bill.

The extended, cooler germination process gives even modification and strong fermentability, and a low-and-slow kilning process keeps colour development minimal, so you get a bright, fresh, clean malt character rather than anything heavy or biscuity.

Expect flavour notes of hay, grain and bread, with a subtle grassiness rounding it out.
