Red Ale is a nice amber-coloured beer, with caramel and toffee malt flavours and a slightly dry finish. Can be brewed Low or Mid, from 2.6% to 4.8% ABV. See can for recipe options. Specifications (approx.) of 23L made with 1kg dextrose or brewing sugar: Colour - Amber Red, 20 EBC; Bitterness - Medium, 27 IBU; Grist - Red ale malt; Wort - OG 1.038; FG 1.008 (approx.); Yeast - Ale yeast. Dry Hop Additions suggested: No need to dry hop this malty beer, but 15g of East Kent Goldings, Fuggle or Magnum will bring some nice sweet, floral, spicy notes.

Only the finest grains are selected and malted. Malts are blended to suit the beer style, then mashed with hop extracts to create hopped wort. The fresh wort is gently reduced to 80 Brix before being canned fresh on-site to retain its original delicious malt flavours.
