This is a proper Yorkshire bitter. The kind of beer that has been keeping pubs in business for generations and will keep you in business at your next backyard gathering. Smooth, easy drinking and dangerously moreish.

Caramel malt, a touch of biscuit, gentle hops and a clean finish that makes your hand reach for the glass again before you have even put it down. Deep amber, looks the part, drinks even better.

This can contains 1.8kg of 100 percent hopped malt extract. No barley syrup. You will also need yeast, 1kg of brewing sugar or malt enhancer, and water.

Makes 23 litres (approximately 40 pints). ABV approximately 4.6%. OG 1040 to 1044. Best served at cellar temperature.
