Dr Rudi (formally known as Super Alpha) is a dual purpose bittering hop from New Zealand. Originally grown for its bittering qualities, however many brewers now also use it for flavour and aroma additions. It has notes of citrus peel underneath lemongrass and pine.
A very versatile hop which does well in single hop beers, as well as complimenting other hop flavours and aromas.
