Still Spirits Turbo 500 (T500) Condenser
There has always been a vigorous debate over whether copper or stainless steel is best for a still — the Still Spirits T500 gives you the choice.
The T500 is a reflux still.
Reflux distillation works by packing the column with material (saddles) that creates a large surface area.
As vapour rises through the column, heavier compounds and water fall back down while lighter, purer ethanol vapour continues rising to the condenser and becomes your distillate.
The result is a very clean, high-purity neutral spirit — up to 93% ABV before diluting.
Copper saddles in the column react with sulphur compounds in the vapour, removing off-notes that stainless alone cannot.
Stainless saddles are easier to clean.
Most serious distillers use a mix of both.
Now with redesigned outlet block, pre-packed with saddles, redesigned column nut and two different tap adaptors.
Best suited for: intermediate to advanced home spirit makers wanting larger batches.
