Still Spirits Filter Pro

The Filter Pro is a gravity-fed carbon filter for filtering 8 litres of spirit at a time via the large stainless steel hopper through 500g of loose carbon packed into a long stainless steel filter column.

Carbon filtration works by adsorption: as spirit passes through the carbon, impurities and off-flavour compounds bind to the surface of the carbon particles and stay there, while the cleaned spirit passes through.

Loose carbon in a long column provides far greater surface area for this reaction than cartridge-based filters, which is why the Filter Pro delivers superior results for larger batches.

With tri-clamps, flow control and removable door and wall mounts, filtering is no longer a chore.
