The head unit is the part that determines what type of distillation your still does.
The original Air Still head unit runs in pot still mode only.
The Air Still Pro Head Unit replaces it with a multi-purpose condenser and interchangeable tips, adding reflux mode (for clean neutral spirit up to 90% ABV) alongside pot still mode (for flavoursome spirits up to 80% ABV).
Automated foreshots collection vials capture the first 30ml so you can discard them easily.
The column self-cools — no external cooling needed.
If you already own an Air Still, this head unit is the most cost-effective path to dual-mode capability.
