The T500 Water Flow Controller is a needle valve that allows precise adjustment of the cooling water flow rate to the T500 condenser, with adaptors to connect directly to 22mm and 24mm household faucets.

Getting the cooling water flow rate right matters for T500 performance. Too little flow and the condenser cannot cool all the vapour — some alcohol escapes uncollected and quality drops.

Too much flow and the condenser over-cools, reducing the reflux action in the column and lowering distillate purity.

A needle valve gives the fine control needed to find and hold the correct rate throughout a run.

Includes adaptors for both 22mm and 24mm threaded faucets to cover most standard Australian tap fittings.
