Still Spirits EZ In Line Filter Spindle

The spindle is the central rod that runs through the EZ Inline Filter cartridge, holding it centred inside the housing so spirit can only pass through the carbon and not around it.

Without the spindle, the cartridge can shift sideways inside the housing, creating a gap between the cartridge and the housing wall.

Spirit would take the path of least resistance, flowing around the outside of the cartridge rather than through it — bypassing the carbon entirely and coming out unfiltered.

The spindle prevents this. It also works with the bottom cap and washers to compress and seal the cartridge in place.

Replace if bent, cracked or missing.
