Still Spirits EZ Filter 40mm Washer, 10

These 40mm spirit-resistant polyethylene washers go one at each end of the EZ Filter carbon cartridge, sealing the cartridge against the housing wall so spirit cannot bypass the carbon.

They act as gaskets — the top washer seals where the cartridge meets the cap, the bottom washer seals where the cartridge meets the spindle nut.

If either washer is absent or flattened, spirit can creep around the edge of the cartridge instead of passing through it, reducing filtration effectiveness.

Polyethylene is specifically used because it is chemically resistant to alcohol and will not taint the spirit.

Replace washers whenever they have noticeably reduced in thickness. Pack of 10.
