The Still Spirits Large Copper Parrot Head provides continuous real-time inline ABV measurement of your spirit as it comes out of the still — no sampling, no stopping, no guessing.

A proofing parrot routes distillate from the condenser through a chamber where an alcometer floats freely, giving you a live ABV reading throughout the entire run.

This lets you monitor exactly when you move from foreshots into hearts, when the hearts phase ends and tails begin, and when to stop collecting — all without interrupting the distillation or handling hot distillate for manual sampling.

The Large Copper Parrot Head is designed for the T500 Reflux and Alembic Distillery Systems.

Two setup options: collect distillate into the cone, or connect directly to the condenser outlet tube. Moulded base sits stably on any bench top.

Note: fits alcometers less than 23mm in diameter. Reads no greater than 252mm from the base of your alcometer.
