EZ Filter Snap Tap with Backing Nut

The snap tap is the outlet valve at the base of the EZ Filter — it controls when filtered spirit flows out into your collection vessel.

A snap tap works by pressing a spring-loaded valve open with your collection vessel or a finger, and releasing it to close the flow.

This keeps the filter sealed when not actively dispensing, preventing drips and contamination.

It is made from a boilproof material because the filter is used with spirit at temperatures that can cause some plastics to deform or leach.

The backing nut secures the tap firmly to the lower lid so it cannot rotate or loosen during use.

Replace if the spring mechanism fails, the tap drips when closed, or the boilproof rating is compromised.
