Still Spirits EZ Clear Spindle Nut (Filter Bottom Cap)

The clear spindle nut — also called the filter bottom cap — screws onto the bottom of the spindle to lock the cartridge assembly in place inside the EZ Filter housing.

It works together with the spindle and the 40mm washers to compress the cartridge from both ends, creating a seal that forces all the spirit to pass through the carbon rather than leaking around the edges.

It is clear so you can see when filtered spirit has started flowing through. It also provides the outlet point where clean spirit exits the filter.

Replace if cracked, stripped or no longer sealing properly.
