Still Spirits Air Still Carbon Filter Clear Spindle

The clear spindle is the central rod that runs through the Air Still carbon filter cartridge, holding it aligned inside the filter housing so distillate cannot bypass the carbon.

Without the spindle, the cartridge can shift sideways, creating a gap where distillate flows around the outside of the carbon rather than through it.

The spindle works together with the washers at each end and the clear spindle nut at the base to keep the cartridge perfectly centred and compressed.

It is clear so you can watch the filtered distillate passing through. Replace if cracked, bent or missing.
