Dublin in a can - creamy Irish stout from your brewing setup.

Coopers International Irish Stout delivers smooth creamy stout character with roasted malt and coffee notes that make Guinness drinkers do double takes. This is Irish stout with proper credentials and local production. Smooth, creamy, unapologetically Irish.

Perfect for brewers who want Guinness vibes from their own gear. Your fermenter does the Dublin impression.

Brew it and pour the creamiest stout around.

How much beer does it make? 21 litres (about 56 stubbies or 44 schooners)

Beer You Will Get:

  • Colour: Very dark brown
  • Body: Full and creamy
  • ABV: Around 4-4.5%
  • Best served: Cool (8-10°C)
Brewing Instructions

Clean your gear. Sanitise everything like your beer depends on it... because it does!

Pour 2L of boiling water into fermenter. Soften your extract can in hot water (10 mins), then empty into fermenter.

Add your fermentables (about 1kg). Stir until dissolved 

Top up to fermenter with water 23L mark. Boom! You've made wort!

Cool wort to 18-22°C. Take gravity reading.

Sprinkle yeast over wort.

Cover, add airlock, and place in dark spot (18-22°C). If adding hops, dry hop (chuck 'em in) on day 4.

After 5 days, check gravity. Take gravity readings on consecutive days. If they're identical and under 1.016, you're good to go!

Bottle or keg. Add carbonation drops or sugar when bottling. Wait 4 weeks (best at 3 months) or keg it for faster gratification.
