Big beers need a yeast that keeps up

M42 New World Strong Ale is the reliable workhorse for IPAs, porters and imperials.

A top-fermenting ale strain suitable for ales of all strengths. M42 ferments with a neutral yeast aroma so the full character of malts and hops is prominent in the finished beer. Highly flocculent and resilient, it is not prone to autolysis and is excellent for cask or bottle conditioning.

Yeast Specs:

  • Suitable for: IPA, Porter, Russian Imperial Stout, Barleywine
  • Fermentation temp: 16–22°C
  • Attenuation: 77–82%
  • Flocculation: High
  • Alcohol tolerance: up to 12% ABV
