M54 Californian Lager is the shortcut that does not taste like one.

A unique lager strain that ferments at ale temperatures without the associated off flavours. No extended lagering periods required. Clean and crisp, this strain produces anything from a hoppy pilsner to a helles without the need for dedicated cold fermentation equipment.

  • Suitable for: California Common, lagers fermented at ambient (ale) temperatures
  • Fermentation temp: 18–20°C
