This is your no-fuss cleaner for anything that will touch your wort or beer - kettles, fermenters, conditioning tanks, filters, packaging gear, all of it.

StellarClean is a buffered alkaline detergent, so it does the job of a caustic soda cleaner without being caustic — meaning it's gentle enough to use on your skin and won't chew through stainless steel, aluminium or plastic like the harsher stuff can.

It uses active oxygen to get into carbon and protein soils and break them down, and it's built to keep working even in hard water. You'll typically only need around a 1% concentration to shift the grime, though that can shift a bit depending on how dirty things are and your water conditions.

Because it's not caustic, you don't need to heat it up to get it working properly — just mix it up and soak. It's proven itself on brass and copper filters and industrial aluminium surfaces too, so if it's made of metal and it's covered in brewing gunk, this will probably sort it out.
