Still Spirits Air Still Washers - 10 Pack

Food-grade polyethylene washers designed for the Air Still filter and the Air Still Fermenter Lid — ideal for use with alcohol as polyethylene will not taint spirit.

The washers in the carbon filter sit one at each end of the carbon cartridge, sealing it against the filter housing so distillate cannot bypass the carbon.

In the fermenter lid they act as a seal to prevent air and contaminants from entering during fermentation.

Polyethylene is specifically used in both applications because it is chemically inert to ethanol and will not leach flavours, odours or any compounds into the spirit.

Replace the filter washers whenever they have visibly compressed or thinned.
