Still Spirits Air Still Carbon Cartridge (box of 10)

The carbon cartridge is the active component of the Air Still carbon filter — this is what removes impurities and off-flavour compounds from your distillate.

As distillate passes through the cartridge, impurities adsorb onto the carbon surface — they bond to the carbon and stay there while the cleaned spirit passes through.

Each cartridge has a finite capacity: once saturated, it cannot adsorb any more impurities. This is why cartridges are single-use. Each is suitable for up to 1125ml (40oz) of distilled spirit or grain alcohol.

Discard after each use and fit a fresh one for the next batch.

Reusing a spent cartridge means filtering with no effective carbon action.
