Still Spirits Distilling Conditioner is a de-foaming agent made of food-grade silicones, suitable for human consumption.
Add to the wash in the boiler before distillation to prevent foaming into the column or condenser.
During distillation, especially with nutrient-rich turbo yeast washes, the wash can foam up as it heats. If that foam reaches the column or condenser, it introduces non-volatile compounds into the distillate and can affect purity and taste.
The conditioner also aids in preventing surge boiling (bumping) and helps release excess dissolved CO2 from the wash.
A small amount added to the boiler before each run eliminates this risk.
