Distiller's Dark Spirits Nutrient

Yeast nutrient blend especially formulated for enhanced congener production during fermentation of alcohol for dark spirits.

When making whiskey, rum or brandy, you actually want the yeast to produce certain congeners — flavour compounds including esters, fusel oils and aldehydes that contribute the characteristic complexity of dark spirits.

This nutrient blend is formulated to encourage that production during fermentation, giving the wash more raw material for the distillate to carry.

Sufficient for up to 25L per dose.
